Location: Dublin Grade: Senior Associate / Manager Contract type: Permanent A snapshot of your peer group: Qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, or international equivalent) with 1+ year(s) PQE Excellent knowledge of accounting, preferably obtained in a "Big 4/Top 10" environment Proven project management skills, with experience in leading teams and delivering services to clients Problem solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations Strong technical experience, with a track record of combining accounting analysis with commercial business advice Experience in accounting standards including IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP.
US GAAP experience is a plus but not a prerequisite.

Here is what you can initially expect: Management of client accounting-related engagements, and leading teams.
In some instances, leading Accounting Advisory input into larger, multi-disciplinary teams Take an active role in supporting the management of the accounting advisory practice, including developing new services for clients Be involved in the development of more junior staff, including providing training and acting as a coach and mentor to team members Deliver compelling engagement proposals which result in winning engagements Develop and maintain relationships with clients and team members Actively contribute to the Accounting Advisory strategy, team management and other non-delivery aspects of the role Your team: Accounting Advisory is one of KPMG's fastest growing departments.
