Accounts Assistant

Retail firm based in Kilkenny, are seeking an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis (minimum 9 months) to cover maternity leave.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with a particular focus on accounting functions.
You will be responsible for maintaining efficient workflows while ensuring all accounting tasks are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
  Key Responsibilities: Invoice Management: Process, verify, and reconcile invoices.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Manage and process accounts payable.
Liaise with Retail Stores on Cash Handling and Goods In Liaise with vendors, clients, and other departments as needed.
Maintain and organise office files, records, and other administrative tasks.
  Key Requirements: Proven experience as an accounts assistant  Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Must be available to start immediately.
