Accounts Assistant (Payable)

Details of the offer

Accounts Assistant (Acct Payable), Cavan Town Maternity cover role for 9months Salary depending on experience Duties Carry out all functions involved in the processing and payment of supplier's invoices.
Support the company in optimising its financial transactions and systems Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting Providing administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and associated documents.
Review the integrity of invoices and associated documentation prior to processing.
Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
Generate purchase orders when necessary.
To generate weekly reports which detail the supplier's invoices due for payment.
To monitor charges and report on any discrepancies.
Reconcile supplier's statements with the company's records.
Deal with any supplier's queries in an efficient and courteous manner.
Adhere to all Kyte held ISO standards and IPPC Licence requirements.
Adhere to Safety & Emergency procedures.
Report to the Financial Controller any fault or defect in plant, equipment, system of work or place of work of which you become aware.
Advise and support to other departments when required.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as and when required by the Finance Controller Criteria Proven track record in a busy accounts payable department.
Minimum 24 months experience in a similar role Excellent attention to detail.
