Details of the offer

As an Architect you will be joining a practice based in South Dublin that due to growth in project pipeline are now seeking to add to their design team. This practice has a long history in Dublin and now with backing of a larger construction group can add to their project portfolio and the variety they can offer staff. With a mixture of technicians, technologists and architects there is a wide band of experience of juniors and seniors alike, a collaborative environment to bring the best designs for their clients.
Your New Role As an Architect you will be joining the team and having an integral part in the project delivery. In fact you will be expected to project manage your own jobs from initial planning and conception stage right through site and until final completion. You will be using your design knowledge to set expectations, come up with new ideas and manage the client through all stages to ensure satisfaction. You need to have experience working on Irish projects, and understand the relevant building/planning regulations. There will be a focus on commercial projects working with some well know retail chains. You will be using ArchiCAD and BIM processes.
Job Requirements You should be an experienced Architect with at least 3-4 years practice experience being able to display your Irish Building Regulation knowledge, Irish planning policy and relevant procurement methods. You should have a degree background in Architecture. This particular role does not require RIAI registration however the practice can support this in the future if you wish to pursue. Your portfolio does not require specific project experience but commercial experience would be a distinct advantage.
Our client is based in South Dublin and easily commutable to by public transport within the city. There is a real support for further development and training, while also having a focus on well-being/work life balance with additional days leave to the standard allowance. There is a real collaborative feel in the office where there is a great atmosphere to succeed. Salary is ultimately negotiable, but will be dependent on the relevant experience brought to the team.
