Area Sales Manager

What you need to know Our client in the food manufacturing sector is looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager for the Galway area. This is a permanent job. Company car provided. You will be responsible for managing and developing van sales, distributors, local depots and increasing company sales.
You will report into the Regional Sales Manager.
Your new job Key duties & responsibilities: Responsible for reaching sales targets.Generating new business & providing after sales service.Manage depot product returns.Stock reconciliation from delivery to sales.Manage staff rotas, holidays, absenteeism etc.Recruitment & staff training.Manage & maintain company vehicles.Reporting of company operational matters.Travel in Galway area county & surrounding.What are we looking for? At least 3 years experience working in a similar role – essential.Full clean Irish/European driving license - essential.Strong commercial awareness.Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.Excellent customer focus.Ability to contribute to sales strategy meetings.Ability to be a strong team player and work well with others.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Apply for this job now or get in touch with Lisa Egan on 090 6490485.
