Job Description & Summary: This role concerns the provision of AV support services to internal clients.
Key areas supported include security compliance, laptop and AV equipment maintenance, room set-up and controls, audio and video conferencing, and in-meeting support services under strict control by agreed deadlines.
The position requires a high level of competency relating to core IT capabilities including troubleshooting, communicating solutions, quality control, task management, inter-team dependencies, and client management.
Purpose-led work you'll be part of: As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

To provide a very client-focused and dedicated support service to include: In-room meeting & event support and setupProduct expertiseEquipment control and maintenanceIssue diagnoses, escalation, and ticket managementMeeting service targets and managing customer expectationsAssist users connect to MS Teams, WebEx, video conferencing calls & MS townhallPlan AV requirements in advance of upcoming meetings or eventsPlan maintenance with 3rd party supportDeveloping and delivering specific AV training to team membersEvent activities: Set-up of stage and mixing deskTesting microphonesTesting visuals from laptops, tabletsManaging speakers and event organisers, ensuring clarity in what you can provide versus their expectationsPlanning for the unexpected during eventsDismantle of equipment post-event and ensuring the rooms are returned to their normal useDocumentation: Maintaining procedural and technical documentationDeveloping and communicating fixes to complex problemsDeveloping user guides and related materialMeeting preparation, minute recording, and distribution (as required)Lead/Contribute to Projects: Deliver required audio-visual products or services.The above is not an exhaustive list and will include completing any other reasonable task requested by management, which may include tasks outside the normal scope of this position.
Experiences and skills: 3rd level related qualificationMinimum of 3-4 years' experience in the focused use of AV hardware and software for a business in a medium to large companyPlanning, organisational and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and respond to changing prioritiesAbility to prioritize client needs and deliver high-quality serviceTechnical skills required: A high level of competence in the use and support of a range of AV software & hardware products
Experience with Crestron, AMX hardware, and AVoIP (Audio Visual over IP)Good understanding of IT/AV NetworkingKnowledge of PowerPoint, Google Slides, MS Teams, MS Townhall, WebExLive event sound (microphones, laptops, tablets) and visual mixingIssue diagnoses, escalation, and ticket managementVideo conferencing and audio-conferencing knowledgeAbility to apply past AV experience to current situations to resolve issues and/or provide recommendationsPC, MAC, and iOS knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic issuesExperience supporting live broadcasts & webcastsCTS qualification (desirable)Dante qualification (desirable)AV Security experience (desirable)AV Project experience (desirable)Knowledge of Cisco Room Series equipmentUnlock your potential with PwC Ireland: We believe that challenges are better solved together.
