Job Title: Aurivo Farm Profitability & Sustainability Specialist Location: Aurivo Dairy Ingredients, Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon Opportunity: Permanent Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition.

Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Aurivo Co-operative by harnessing innovation, emerging technologies, and new ways of working with our milk suppliers and other livestock farmers to create mutually beneficial value for farmers and the co-op.
Reporting to the Aurivo Farm Profitability & Sustainability manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a programme that will enhance the financial, environmental, and social sustainability of our farmers.
A key element of the role will be to ensure that relevant information is communicated to Aurivo suppliers through the most appropriate channels.
Key Responsibilities Provide farm advisory services to our milk suppliers.
The advisory service works to support our milk suppliers to achieve and enhance the financial, social and environmental sustainability of their farm businesses.
Work with other industry stakeholders to develop and provide advisory services to our milk suppliers and shape industry requirements.
Deliver key sustainability programme initiatives such as water quality.
Organise and attend co-op events.
Regularly communicate with our milk suppliers through social media, video and written communications, so that our milk suppliers are kept up to date with any developments that will affect their business.
Communicate and work with the programme manager and all business units in Aurivo to benefit our farmers.
The ideal candidate will have Detailed knowledge of the Irish dairy industry.
Strong analytical and report writing and record keeping skills.
Ability to take the lead on projects and work with industry stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, in areas such as PowerPoint, social media and written and verbal communications.
A recognised third level Agri qualification is essential.
Post graduate qualification in dairy science or related area would be an advantage.
