Automotive Climate Control Technician

Automotive Climate Control Technician Technical Certificate of CreditThe Automotive Climate Control Technician certificate program provides students with skills for entering the automotive service industry as an entry-level climate control technician. Topics covered include: basic shop safety, electrical/electronic theory and diagnosis, and the theory, operation, diagnosis and servicing of automotive climate control systems.
Students who complete this program have participated in an automobile technician training program that was certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
Students may enter the Automotive Climate Control Technician program any semester. A full-time student can complete this program in 2 semesters. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 14 semester credit hours.
