Position: Banquet Chef Location: Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, Blessington Lakes, Blessington, Co Wicklow At Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort we are currently inviting all experienced applicants to apply for the role of Banquet Chef in our 4 star Hotel & Golf Resort.
The successful applicant must have at least two years experience, preferably in a four star hotel and proven experience managing their own section.
This is a full-time role position which includes weekends and evening shifts.

Our luxurious hotel consists of 89 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events.
The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains.
All our food is sourced locally from our Irish farmers, cheese mongers and suppliers.
We're also causing quite the stir with our fine selection of beers and cocktails!

Candidate Requirements Always working on behalf of guests and working with other team members to exceed guest expectations.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high volume fast paced environment.
To have strong knowledge of HACCP.
To lead by example at all times.
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
Responsible for maintaining high levels of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness.
Responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service.
Responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the kitchen whilst taking instruction.
Take direction from Executive Head Chef & Sous Chef to assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
Be self-motivated and creative and be committed to quality in presentation of food.
Key responsibilities will include: Prepare and serve food to the highest of standards and whilst following set recipes in conjunction with the Executive Head Chef, to ensure the consistent smooth running of food production areas within all areas.
To ensure effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation and service of Venue food stocks regarding quality, quantity and safety in accordance with the Executive Head Chef.
To ensure that all food production areas are operating to the required standards throughout the designated opening hours.
Maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guests' expectations.
Assisting the Executive Head Chef in ensuring that the food operations are controlled in a manner which reaches the desired cost of sales and in liaison with the Food and Beverage Manager maximising potential and optimising resources.
To ensure that temperature readings are taken on a daily basis and taken accurately Ensure appealing plate presentation To ensure all food service is delivered at the agreed time and to the highest of standards.
Ensure adequate, but not excessive, food is provided for all functions.
To ensure all cleaning schedules are adhered to and hygiene checked daily.
Compilation of menus and special requests with the assistance of the Executive Head Chef.
During quiet times in banqueting, roll into the Restaurant/Brasserie service and assist where required Ensuring the security of all foods, chemicals and equipment by maintaining procedures laid down by the Head Chef and Safety Policy.
To ensure that at all times cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety matters are adhered to so as not to breach any legislative points within the Food Safety Act 1990 or the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Pay attention to the rota and requirements of the department to ensure all events and functions are suitably covered.
Work in accordance with standard procedures within each department.
