Bus Driver (Waterford)

We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Bus Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will safely transport passengers along designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures, while providing excellent customer service.
This role requires adherence to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities: Passenger Transportation: Safely operate a bus to transport passengers along scheduled routes, including stops at designated locations.
Route Management: Follow assigned routes and timetables accurately, ensuring punctuality and reliability for all trips.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to all passengers, assisting with boarding and deboarding, and addressing any questions or concerns.
Fare Collection: Collect fares or validate tickets/passes from passengers, ensuring accurate transactions and reporting any discrepancies.
Incident Reporting: Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or incidents to the Transportation Manager promptly.
Complete required documentation as needed.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-kept bus interior.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Emergency Response: Act calmly and effectively in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of passengers and providing necessary assistance.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with dispatchers, other drivers, and management regarding route changes, traffic conditions, and any other relevant information.
Qualifications: Valid D License Up to date CPC and Tachograph Card
