Centripetal is looking for an ambitious and personable individual to join the Irish and European sales and marketing team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) .

Work Location: On-site, Platform 94, Mervue Industrial Park, Galway.
Reports to: Global Director – Commerical Marketing Job Summary: The Business Development Representative (BDR) is on the front line of the Sales & Marketing team responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential leads, building relationships, and setting up meetings for the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
  The BDR will drive opportunity development and advancement to achieve the targeted sales number aligned with go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients across UK, Ireland, and parts of EMEA Prospect new leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Qualifying inbound leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
Map out the organization structure and key influencers within each target account.
Research areas of interest for key decision makers and potential routes to engage them.
Sales Outreach & Qualification: Craft researched, creative outreach campaigns tailored to the findings of your research and ongoing campaigns.
Initiate contact with potential clients via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach to schedule initial meetings or product demos.
Engage prospects through a mix of digital and traditional sales methods to build rapport and identify business needs.
Conduct initial introductory and discovery discussions to help qualify potential.
Maintain detailed notes on customer interactions and lead status in CRM systems.
Cross Team Collaboration  Design and execute territory specific plans with Regional Sales Managers.
Support marketing and sales with event out-bounding and follow-up activities.
Work closely with the sales & marketing teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads for further nurturing and closing.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales outreach strategies and messaging.
Provide ongoing market development activities within assigned territory.
Pipeline Management: Track all activities in the CRM and keep the sales pipeline up to date.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
Market Research & Feedback: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, market changes and relevant events that are taking place in each region, with the option of being open to attending them as part of ongoing professional development.
Provide feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams on prospect objections and opportunities for improvement.
Continually develop your skills by participating in weekly team meetings and ongoing training.
Requirements: Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (preferably in a B2B environment).
Industry experience in Technology, SaaS and Professional Services a bonus but not essential.
Previous experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
Working knowledge of LinkedIn and other social media tools.
Skills: Showcase creative, considered approaches to messaging and communication that is tailored to the audience and effectively captures their attention.
Can comprehend technical topics and translate them into easy to understand, concise explanations.
Show excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations at various decision-making levels.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Capacity to work independently, as well as collaborate with a team Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
