We are looking for a Business Development Manager to effectively represent our clients portfolio of client companies within the B2B medical device sector. Your primary role will involve identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships for our clients within our Medtec supplier network. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in B2B sales and business development in the medical device industry, excellent communication capabilities, and a strategic mindset for building long-lasting relationships.
Responsibilities: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners.Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover new business opportunities and identify emerging trends.Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to guide business strategies.Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and customer base expansion.Utilize various channels such as networking, social media, and industry events to identify potential clients.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective sales strategies and proposals.Present business proposals to prospective clients, emphasizing the value of our offerings.Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets, while providing updates on pipeline, meetings, and business development efforts.Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and customize solutions accordingly.Formulate and execute customer engagement plans for clients within your territory and at trade shows.Represent both the client company and Avem at trade shows and other networking events.Follow up on new opportunities and quotations submitted to customers.Maintain high levels of communication and collaboration with client companies to manage expectations and foster excellent business relationships.Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Business Development, Marketing/Research, Sales/Customer Management, or a related field.More than 5 years of experience in B2B medical device business development and sales.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in customer success software and CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot, Gainsight).For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contactDeirdre Moran. ****** (091) 706710
