OurSupply Chain/Procurementteam are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site inAthenry.As aBuyer,you willplaya key role in coordinatingpurchasingactivitiesfor ourAthenrysite, working closely withmanufacturing,planningand engineering departments toacquireinventory in a cost effective andtimelymanner.
Where you come in:
You will generate,adjustandexpeditepurchase orders based on MRP demands and/or Min/Max requirements.?
You will generateSupplier Forecasts and coordinate general purchasing activities for Dexcom for Direct and Indirect materials within their portfolio.?
You willestablishappropriate inventorystrategies for their portfolio.
You will provide feedback on BOM parts/commodities numbers in the ERP.?
You will support Supplier Relationship Management strategies.?
You will manage Inventory levels of their portfolio in line with businessgoals
You will suggest cost saving proposals.
You will interact closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.
You will minimise Excess and Obsolescence Inventory
You will support the resolution ofpurchasedprice variances, AP discrepancies, and Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions within statedtime frames.
You will review and report supplier deliveryperformance
You willparticipatein business reviews with suppliers.
You willmonitoron time delivery and initiatives correctiveaction
You will managethe interaction with suppliers associated with Engineering Change Orders
You willcomplywithUS FDA regulations, regulatory requirements, company quality system, policies, procedures.
You willassistin local sourcing initiatives in collaboration with Corporate Procurement
What makes you successful:
You have aBachelor'sdegree inarelevant discipline withaminimum of2-5yearsrelevant experience.
You have experience of using ERP systems. Oracle desired but not mandatory.
You havea high levelof understandinginPlanning, MRP and MPSasit relates to Purchasing.
You have experience within the Medical Device Industry.
You understand configuration management as it relates to item master and bill of materials.
You proactively developand execute ideas for improvements.
You areself-motivated, with excellent communication and cross-functional leadershipskills
