No panel will be formed as a result of this campaign. Details of the Service: · GMHS provides a range of services that are tailored to meet the specific sexual health needs of the gay and bisexual men, men who have sex with men (gbMSM), and the Trans community.
GMHS is a multidisciplinary service that delivers high-quality sexual healthcare.
GMHS provides a clinical service, focusing on various aspects of sexual health, including STI screening, treatment, and PrEP management.
The clinic operates a combination of symptomatic and asymptomatic screening services, vaccination programs, and dedicated PrEP clinics.
· GMHS is a national service, providing care to gbMSM and the Trans community living throughout Ireland.
The service works closely with the HSE Sexual Health Programme (SHP) and with the Department of Public Health.
GMHS is part of the Social Inclusion team within Primary Care in Region of Dublin South and Wicklow.
· The team in GMHS includes clinical, health and social care professionals, and administration staff.
The successful candidate will report to the Grade VIII in Social Inclusion, and will manage a team of administration staff.
· GMHS falls within the IHA Region Dublin South and Wicklow.
However, the service has a National scope.
· HSE Social inclusion aims to reduce inequalities in health and improve access to mainstream and targeted health services for vulnerable and excluded groups in Ireland.

Purpose of the Post: Operational management of the Gay Men's Health Service Business Support • Coordinating, with relevant IT partners/vendors, all business IT support activity in GMHS ensuring accurate and timely delivery of support and reporting as necessary
• Providing support in the implementation and continuous review of all GMHS systems incorporating some or all of the following: Information Governance; Data protection; GDPR compliance; Data / cyber security; Business analysis; Systems analysis – managing the full life cycle of changes to existing systems, and the analysis of business needs to implement new systems
• Audit and corrective/preventative action
• To draft relevant technical reports as appropriate to the role to satisfy the requirements of the section or in support of business initiatives.
• Draft and maintain relevant documentation (e.g.
requirement specification, SOP's etc.).
• Support and address external stakeholder queries when they arise / escalate as required.
• Contribute as necessary to the preparation of activity plans, operational plans, budgets and operational reports.
• Present project updates and report to line manager, teams and high level multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Human Resources / Supervision of Staff • Supervise and enable other team members to carry out their responsibilities, ensuring appropriate delegation of responsibility and authority.
• Review the conduct and completion of assignments of staff in accordance with the operational plan and expected quality standards.
• Keep in touch with workloads of staff members to gauge levels of wellbeing and morale in the team.
• Manage the performance of staff, dealing with underperformance in a timely and constructive manner.
• Create and promote a positive working environment among staff members, which contributes to maintaining and enhancing effective working relationships with other teams and disciplines.
• Solve problems and ensure decisions are in line with local and national agreements
• Pursue and promote continuous professional development in order to develop leadership and management expertise and professional knowledge.
• Evaluate and make recommendations on proposals, which have funding implications.
Finance · Ensure all National Financial Regulations are adhered to and that structures are in place to maintain compliance.
· Support relevant managers in the preparation of periodical reports.
· Ensure that service has robust purchase to pay processes.
