The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Voluntary Board of Directors via the Chairperson and arranged meetings. The CEO will be responsible for the effective leadership of St. Christophers Services CLG, and is accountable for the promotion and regulation of excellent professional standards within the service. The individual is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with relevant legislation, regulation, national policy, and best practice standards which govern the provision of services. The role involves ensuring public confidence in the service and acts as the accountable officer, providing formal assurance on the service financial controls, adhering to good governance practices.
The CEO will set the strategic direction of St. Christophers Services CLG, align the organization, and mobilize resources to ensure effective service delivery. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for creating value and promoting a positive culture to ensure the organization achieves and maintains consistent excellence.
Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level or equivalent Evidence of relevant continuing professional development Desirable Master's Degree in a relevant discipline A Leadership or Management qualification Project Management Qualification Experience 5 to 10 years of experience in a senior management role in either health or social care delivery or other comparable and relevant business environment of equivalent complexity, as relevant to the role. Demonstrates leadership and management experience with a proven track record of organisational management, operational excellence and organisational improvement as relevant to this role. A proven ability to lead, manage, develop, and ensure the performance achievement of a Senior Management Team and build a commitment to a shared vision. A proven record of delivery and transformation. Experience of strategic planning underpinned by an effective internal corporate governance framework and risk management system. A proven track record of managing large budgets effectively, with a commitment to value for money, quality, governance, and accountability.
