Clerical Officer - PA to Section Officer Our client, a public sector body, wishes to hire a Clerical Officer on a temporary 3-month contract initially.
Youll be responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the office, reporting to the department manager.
This role will cover all administrative tasks from reception, front of house, minute taking, Dictaphone typing, both email and letter correspondence, working to strict service level agreements, data entry, filing and any other adhoc tasks.
This role is an on-site position and will suit someone immediately available.
RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting the SEO in all administrative needs Checking and verifying and recording Invoiceson behalf of theSenior Executive Officer in respect of Utility Bills, Agency, Storage, Cleaning and Printer Invoices Processing orders in respect of Janitorial items and Oil requests General Administration duties, e.g.
filing, typing, data input, photocopying, scanning etc Minute taking as required Dealing with queries by phone, email and post Contacting relevant stakeholders to follow up on queries particularly in relations to Invoices and services not provided as per contracts Attending and arrangingtender viewings with perspective Cleaning Companieswith the Assistant Staff Officer and attending committee meetings Any other duties as assigned by the Staff Officer/Senior Executive Officer REQUIREMENTS Proficient with Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint and Excel Previous HSE experience is desirable Strong typing skills is essential Dictaphone typing is desired but not essential Excellent communication, organisational and presentational skills.
