Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for an Endoscopy Unit for our client, an acute hospital in Waterford.
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 of the Endoscopy unit is responsible for the co-ordination and management of activity and resources within the Endoscopy unit ensuring the provision of safe, quality assured, efficient service for patients and colleagues.
To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work closely with nursing colleagues developing innovative practice within the unit delivering evidence-based care.
To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to Endoscopy Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence based, care planning approach.
Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to service users within the guidelines laid out by NMBI.

Plan and organise schedules within Endoscopy, in conjunction with the ADON.
Participate in teams / meetings / committees as appropriate, communicating and working in co-operation with other team members.
Provide the necessary supervision, co-ordination and deployment of nursing and support staff to ensure the optimum delivery of care in the designated area through allocating work fairly and competently.
Qualifications & Experience: Be a registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Must have at least 2 years' experience in a management role within a busy endoscopy service.
Previous experience with JAG accreditation would be desirable.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience of quality audit/assurance systems.
Possess excellent communication skills.
