We are seeking input from a Clinical Psychologist to hold a clinic (4 hours per week) to enhance the quality of service offered to our Residents.
This location for this role is Ardee, Co. Louth with flexibility in relation to the day(s) and hours of work.
The role will involve: Consultations to support residents with strategies enabling their positive risk-taking lifestyles and behaviour support.
Interfacing with staff providing support and promoting therapeutic strategies.
Providing awareness and training sessions to staff in relation to behavioural support plans.

Applicants should hold: A recognised university degree or diploma with first- or second-class honours in which Psychology was taken as major subject and honours obtained in that subject, and a post-graduate professional qualification in psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland. Applicant's qualified outside the Republic of Ireland are required to have their qualifications validated by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
All applicants must meet the registration requirements of the Psychology Society of Ireland Relevant experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
Salary is Negotiable.
Day of delivery of hours can be agreed.
