About The Role Duties and Responsibilities of the Role: Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, peeling fruits, and preparing ingredients as directed by the senior chefs.
Assist in cooking and plating dishes, following recipes and guidelines set by the kitchen leadership.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Help with portioning and plating of dishes to ensure consistency and presentation standards are met.
Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, rotating stock, and notifying senior chefs when supplies need replenishing.
Ensure that workstations and kitchen equipment are kept clean and organized.
Assist in setting up and operating kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stoves, and mixers, following safety guidelines.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, implementing best practices in food handling and sanitation.
Accommodate special dietary requests and allergies, as instructed by the senior chefs.
Actively learn from and follow the guidance of the kitchen leadership, seeking to improve culinary skills.
Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and banquets, collaborating with the culinary team.
Be willing to adapt to changing kitchen demands and work under the guidance of different senior chefs.
