Job Description We are recruiting a Communications Manager to join our diverse team in Citywest, Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all internal and external communications in the Commercial Affiliate.
This role involves advising and influencing the management team on the reputation implications of business decisions.
Alongside the General Manager, the Communications Manager also acts as a spokesperson for our company and builds trustful relationships with key stakeholders.
This role will attend AMT Meetings, as needed, to advise and counsel from time to time. This role is a permanent position and will report into the commercial affiliates General Manager and work closely with them.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute annual strategic communication plan to build and advance AbbVie's corporate reputation in Ireland with a focus on local communities, shape local healthcare environment and advance understanding of priority disease areas Establish and deliver on media engagement plans for General Manager and Affiliate Management Team, including working closely with media as the primary point of contact and responding to media inquiries to build an understanding of company and business priorities Prepare (but not limited to) press releases, briefing documents, videos, executive presentations, speeches, letters of influence, position papers, and social media communications Responsible to manage Media Crisis connected with Affiliate and support All Ireland Crisis Media Management, if required Develop, together with the Brand Teams, communication strategies and tactics aimed at achieving commercial goals (Activation Campaigns, Awareness Campaigns, etc) Ensure that Social Media channels build AbbVie reputation, including engagement of AMT members, through posting and supporting social media.
