The project: Transport Infrastructure Ireland has appointed a multidisciplinary client partner team for the project, first metro railway. Mace will work as part of the client team. Running for 18.8km, the project will be a high-capacity, high-frequency metro railway with 16 new stations running from Swords to the north of the Irish capital to Charlemont in the south. Anticipated to carry up to 50 million passengers annually, the new network will act as an integrator for existing air, rail, DART, Dublin Bus and Luas services across the Greater Dublin Area.
You'll be responsible for: Supports effective implementation of specialist functional strategy on assigned commission, specifically around community liaison engagement.Supports in building strong professional relationships with client/client representative(s) in order to undertake community engagement activities.Supports with the duties set out in specific stakeholder & communications functional management plans and the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.Delivers client objectives and requirements in a public facing capacity.Drives integration of specific stakeholder & communications functional disciplines (i.e. as stakeholder management, communications, consents or interface management).Develops alignment of stakeholder & communications service activity to the Mace control centre, client requirements and other legislation.You'll need to have: Relevant university degree (planning, arts, etc.) or equivalent.Experience of working on construction projects and/or consultancy.Experience in face to face engagement with general public/residents.Knowledge of relevant tools, techniques and software (e.g. MS office).Ability to communicate technical engineering and design information into plain-speak English.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
