R&D Cough Data Analyst: Vitalograph is a leading manufacturer of medical respiratory diagnostic devices and software, used in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders, and advanced high-reliability equipment and software systems used in respiratory end-point clinical drug trials. Vitalograph's custom solutions and a personalised approach to Clinical Trials means we can meet a wide range of respiratory clinical study needs, with services including project and data management, data analysis, clinical over-reading, training, software configuration, eCOA and site support.
We are looking for 3 Cough Analysts to join the team in our Ennis office, 25 hours per week on a fixed term 7 month contract, which may be worked flexibly within working hours of 8-5pm Monday to Friday on site.
The roles will involve supporting the Clinical Data Science Team by analysing audio data to identify and annotate various clinical features associated with cough.
The analysts may also be required to assist with the development, drafting and/or review and testing of new protocols for the annotation and analysis of other types of data features related to cough and respiratory health.
Responsibilities Analyse and annotate data from one of the company's medical devices & document results.
Review of work to ensure a high level of quality is maintained.
Communicate effectively with internal team disciplines to ensure team & project deadlines are met.
Assist with the development and drafting of protocols for feature identification in cough audio files.
Collaborate, share knowledge with and support other analysts as required.
Requirements: Attention to detail with capability for high levels of focus and concentration for long periods.
Hard working, motivated, reliable with a good attitude towards their co-workers.
Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Competent person, capable of working under their own initiative with minimal supervision and a good team player.
Good written/verbal and communication skills.
Computer literate with experience using MS Word & Excel.
