About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Data Governance team for a Data and Analytics Delivery lead. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful prioritisation and delivery of data and analytical initiatives across the organisation. The role requires working closely with key business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs, ensuring that initiatives align with strategic goals and that delivery of solutions meets business requirements. The successful candidate will:
Guide and manage the delivery of initiatives from inception to completion.Develop and maintain initiative scope, solution design, plans, and delivery schedule.Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.Quantify and communicate benefits, status, risks, and issues effectively.Own and manage the integrated enterprise data and insights roadmap.Develop a demand management, prioritisation, and delivery framework.Establish and operate a demand and prioritisation forum with key stakeholders.Implement and monitor KPIs to measure success and performance.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks.Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.Ensure business readiness for change, facilitating a seamless transition to BAU.About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
7+ years of experience delivering cross-functional initiatives in financial services or another regulated industry.Strong demand and delivery management skills with demonstrable experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Certification is an advantage (e.g. PMP, SAFe).Advanced problem-solving skills, excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to lead meetings, hold workshops with senior management, communicate complex ideas effectively, advocate solutions and results to technology and business audiences.Demonstrated expertise and understanding of data and analytics themes such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Reporting, and Data Insights.Knowledge and work experience with data regulations such as GDPR and BCBS239 is a distinct advantage.Experience working autonomously, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines and delivering results by critical deadlines.Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and organisational priorities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.What we offer We offer a range of benefits and experiences to support your professional and personal growth, whatever your career stage.
