Deli Assistant - Part-Time

SPAR Kinlough, Kinlough, Co Leitrim, F91 P3KC are looking for a part-time Deli Assistant to join their fantastic team.
Customer Care Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner providing an exceptional standard of customer care.Communicate with customers effectively and in a welcoming manner.Deal with customer complaints professionally and refer to the Store Manager where appropriate.Ensure products are served to customers in line with Food Hygiene Requirements.Assist customers with queries regarding deli products.Operational & Store Presentation Maintain the Deli area and equipment to the required level of hygiene, ensuring cleaning is carried out as per Food Hygiene Policy.Receive and check stock in line with company guidelines.Store and display product in line with food hygiene policy and merchandising policy.Rotate stock appropriately to minimize waste.Be vigilant at all times to prevent stock loss and waste.Conduct stock takes as instructed by Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager.Comply with food hygiene practices in line with HACCP regulations.Take care of your health & safety and that of your colleagues and customers, taking action to reduce risks and hazards.Food Service Check temperatures in the deli area ensuring compliance with HACCP regulations.Maintain HACCP records in line with store policies.Monitor Critical Control Points to ensure food is not exposed to contamination.Comply with relevant controls around all foods including Fresh and Red Meats.General Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager.Requirements: Available for shifts during the week and at weekends.Experience would be beneficial but not required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Numerical abilities.The ability to work as part of a team.The ability to use initiative.Sound judgement with the ability to make decisions.Self-motivated.Good attention to detail.Knowledge of Food Hygiene would be beneficial.
