Job Description: We are looking to recruit an experienced business journalist with a strong track record and extensive network of contacts to the position of Deputy Business Editor.
This is a newly created role with a focus on digital and new initiatives.
The candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Irish and international business affairs and will be experienced in reporting across all platforms.
As Deputy Business Editor, the successful candidate will have the capability to report and analyse business issues as well as breaking exclusive stories.
They will play a key role in the development of the Irish Examiner's business coverage.
Based in the Irish Examiner's office in Cork, the role requires the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with an ability to work decisively is required.
