With healthy growth and an increase in the demand for their services, they're now looking for a motivated Design Engineer who is competent in using SolidWorks and has professional experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to Prepare and issue SolidWorks designs to the production dept.
including detailed technical drawings and instructions for the manufacture of products Liaise with the estimation department on the handover of projects Support clients on technical queries or design of projects and approvals Prepare project material orders and issue them to the supply chain dept Manage and prioritise own projects Support production on technical queries Liaise with the production supervisor on any specific project manufacturing details Keep accurate reporting of projects, including the track of materials and labour usage efficiencies Prepare and issue delivery or dispatch notes for projects Liaise with accounts dept.
