This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a background in digital or offset printing who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing environment.This role is Dublin based with travel expected across both Northern Ireland and ROI.
Role OverviewAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of the business ensuring that end clients experience seamless operation of advanced printing presses.
You will be the go-to technical expert, transferring your knowledge directly to press operators and providing hands-on support to resolve any on-site technical issues.
When faced with complex challenges, you will coordinate with our global support teams to ensure a rapid and effective response.
Your role will be key in building strong, long-term relationships with clients while maximizing press productivity and production quality.
Role Responsibilities Provide on-site technical support, guiding press operators through troubleshooting and maintenance processes to resolve issues quickly and effectively.Escalate complex issues to international support teams, ensuring thorough solutions that maintain high client satisfaction.Apply in-depth technical knowledge of advanced printing equipment to optimize press performance, production, and reliability.Conduct regular site visits, including hands-on equipment assessments, adjustments, and customer follow-up to maintain strong client relationships and equipment performance.The Person Experience: Minimum 2 years in product support within the graphic arts industry, ideally focused on digital or offset printing presses; experience with inkjet systems is highly advantageous.Technical Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and a high level of technical knowledge in digital printing processes.License: A valid driving license is required, as this role involves significant travel to customer sites.Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in building trust and collaboration with global clients and team members.Flexibility: Availability to travel frequently (60-70% of the time, including overnight trips) and work flexible hours to meet customer needs.Attributes: A proactive, “can-do” approach, an eagerness for continuous learning, and the ability to work independently under remote supervision.Salary &; ExperienceGenerous salary up to €70,000 available for this hire based on seniority / experience.Plus package including company vehicle, private health, laptop, phone, etc.This is an urgent hire due to continued growth and success, please get in touch for immediate consideration.
