Director Of Architecture

As the Director of Architecture you will be joining a global multidisciplinary consultancy that due to increased expansion within the team now require a practice lead. The group serve a wide variety of projects, however this will be mostly focusing on industrial projects in Ireland and across Europe with further development into other typologies with time.
Your New Role You will be taking over from the current director who heads up the team, while they expand another area of the business. You will be leading over the Architecture and Landscape team. You will be leveraging off a great network across Europe, speaking with some of the most influential architects. Projects will be mostly focusing on the Industrial sector, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Date centres to name a few. But you will have remit to develop other areas. In Cork you will oversee roughly a team of 20, but across Europe there is circa 150 architectural professionals to leverage off and work alongside.
The Requirements Our client is open to experienced Associate Directors that are working in a number 2 position, or a Director that is currently leading a practice. Experience in Ireland or a candidate relocating from Europe will be considered that meet this criteria. You should have at least 15 years in industry for the role. This is a role which is a rare opportunity to join a global group on some of the world's largest and most influential projects.

Salary is ultimately negotiable however I would be happy to discuss further upon serious interest in the role (is highly attractive for the Irish market).
