LMNO Childcare is a small setting located in the centre of Bray Co. Wicklow catering for children aged 2 and a half to 5 and a half years old. We are dedicated to providing quality childcare to families. Job description:To ensure a safe and secure environment for the care, safety and welfare of the children.Planning, reviewing and implementing activities/programmes appropriate to individual and group needs and individual emerging interests.To ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date and accessible at all times.To work in close co-operation with management in relation to the overall delivery of service provided by the crèche.To engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to facilitate the development of each child.To be flexible to work with all ages of the children.To maintain an organised and clean environment for the children.To ensure all daily reports of children are completed to ensure accurate communication at the end of the day.To build relationships with parents on an ongoing basis.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum Fetac Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (QQI recognised – please check on DCYA qualifications section).At least one year's experience.Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta frameworks.Good communication skills.The ability to be flexible.First aid and manual handling.Experience working with children with additional needs would be desirable/an added advantage but is not necessary.Applicants must have a QQI/FETAC level 5 minimum qualifications in childcare and minimum 1 year's experience in a childcare setting.
