Job Title: EHS AdvisorWe are currently seeking an ambitious and proven EHS Advisor to join our team in Cork. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise in areas such as Process Safety, Occupational Safety, or Occupational Hygiene. You will be responsible for supporting the development and coordination of our effective EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and corporate policies.
Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise in at least one of the following areas: Process Safety, Occupational Safety, or Occupational HygieneSupport the development of policies, procedures, and EHS documentationAssist in maintaining an up-to-date Register of LegislationConduct EHS inspections, surveys, and auditsInvestigate incidents and accidents, completing necessary documentationCoordinate and lead the implementation of key EHS projects and systemsRepresent the site on corporate and trade groupsProvide input to the site Technology Transfer team for new product introductionsTake responsibility for the organization and coordination of the Risk Assessment programAct as a subject matter authority for process safety, including COMAH/Seveso III requirementsEnsure maintenance of key process safety documents and completion of necessary reviews and studiesSupport occupational hygiene and ergonomics initiativesProvide safety support to labs on siteDevelop and implement the site ergonomics programDeliver training as requiredRequirements:5+ years of experience as an EHS professional in the Pharma industry on a primary manufacturing facilityThorough knowledge of process plant operationsSound understanding of EHS legislation and cGMP requirementsStrong technical knowledge in the specific field of expertiseFamiliarity with critical business functions on site and global quality policiesJoin our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and start your story today!
