Ehs Officer

HQ Location: Moyvalley, Kildare, Ireland / Site Based.
Cloncad is a leading contractor specialising in the provision of electrical, mechanical, maintenance and fitout services to a range of sectors including industrial, commercial, data centres, manufacturing, infrastructure, pharmaceutical and healthcare.
Description: The EHS Officer will oversee all aspects of environmental, health, and safety for Cloncad, ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a safe working environment.
This role requires a mix of office-based tasks and site-based presence to manage and monitor EHS initiatives across various electrical contracting projects.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in EHS management, preferably in construction or electrical contracting.
Main Responsibilities: EHS Program Development & Implementation.On-Site Safety Oversight.Safety Training & Awareness.EHS Audits & Reporting.Compliance Monitoring & Documentation.Desirable Skills & Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in EHS management, ideally within the construction, electrical, or contracting industries.Strong knowledge of safety regulations.Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and safety training.Ability to identify safety risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Working Conditions: This is a full-time role with a combination of office-based work and on-site visits to project locations.Occasional travel to multiple job sites may be required.
