The Role.
GMC are currently looking for an experienced Entry Level Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful Entry Level Operations Analyst will be supporting the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a data analytical point of view. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for data, a sharp eye for detail, and a desire to learn and grow in the field of data analytics in the construction sector.
Key responsibilities: Data Collection & Preparation: Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and relevance.
Data Cleaning & Preprocessing: Assist in cleaning, transforming, and organizing data to prepare it for analysis.
Data Analysis: Support the senior data team by performing basic analyses and identifying trends or patterns within data sets.
Reporting: Generate and format data reports for stakeholders, presenting key findings in a clear and accessible way.
Data Visualization: Help create visualizations like charts and graphs to simplify complex data for business users.
Quality Assurance: Assist in checking and validating data sets for errors, inconsistencies, or outliers.
Support & Coordination: Work closely with other team members to coordinate data projects and manage data workflows.
Experience and skills essential: Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Share Point.
Capacity to work with repetitive workload.
Experience handling sensitive data.
Ability to calculate and interpret data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot patterns or irregularities in data.
