Tirlán is offering a unique opportunity for a graduate to join our ESG team as an ESG Associate. This role will be Hybrid.

Located in our Abbey Quarter Office, this ESG Associate role reports to the Head of ESG Strategy & Partnerships and will support the ESG Strategy & Partnerships Development and ESG Programme Governance & Reporting areas in developing, monitoring and implementing ESG strategy and reporting.
Responsibilities Work closely with the ESG senior leadership team to oversee efficient delivery of approved projects and programmes.Support in the preparation and implementation of the appropriate strategy, policies, procedures and governance structures.Support in the ongoing development and continual improvement to maintain an efficient, robust ESG data management system (KPI definition, data collection methodologies, performance analysis, due diligence and digital solution review) to monitor and measure progress against ESG objectives.Assist with accurate and timely reporting on sustainability metrics and initiatives as required.Work with Packaging Manager, suppliers and cross functional team on gathering and collating circular economy data.Give support to voluntary and compliance ESG reporting e.g. Benchmarking, Origin Green, EcoVadis, CDP, SBTI, Annual report, SAI SDP, ESG awards, CSRD, CSDDD, PPWR.Support in the completion of customer sustainability questionnaires.Become a sustainability champion for Tirlán in communications with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular communication updates on the status of projects/key topics.Support the delivery of projects within scope, on budget and on time.Support in the review of legislative changes and industry developments and cascading relevant information.Work with cross functional teams to successfully deliver projects.Support updates to Tirlán's ESG Performance Management processes, the 3M framework.Requirements Relevant degree or higher level qualification – BSc./MSc sustainability, environmental/social impact, business, finance or accounting or significant knowledge of ESG/Sustainability/Environment/Policy/Reporting/Project Management standards and methods an advantage.Knowledge and experience of stakeholder management and change management.Strong collaboration and team-working skills.Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and build relationships with stakeholders across the business.Strong Excel, Powerpoint and other related Office software skills a benefit.Some travel may be required, depending on business needs.Accessibility to move between offices is a distinct advantage.If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date resume.
