Estimator | Main Contractor | North Dublin | €75k ++ Comprehensive Benefits Package A well-established Construction Company based in North Dublin is seeking an experienced and qualified Estimator to join their team. The Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase by preparing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects. The position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of construction methods and materials.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimatesAnalyze architectural drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and project requirementsCollaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather information and clarify project detailsIdentify and quantify all necessary materials, labor, and equipment needed for project completionMaintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and project documentationPrepare comprehensive bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and timelinesMonitor and update cost databases and pricing information to reflect current market conditionsKey Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)3+ years of experience as an Estimator with a main contractorStrong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standardsProficiency in estimating softwareExcellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong communication and negotiation skillsBenefits & Package: Competitive salary up of Circa €75k per annum based on experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension plan, and performance-based bonusesOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and supportive work environment
