Estimator -€45K - 55K - Wexford

Key Responsibilities: * Prepare comprehensive and detailed tenders for upcoming projects.
* Review work processes regularly to identify and implement cost-saving strategies.
* Accurately calculate material, equipment, and labor needs for each project.
* Evaluate sub-contractor bids, verifying included and excluded items.
* Negotiate pricing with both suppliers and subcontractors.
* Raise tender-related queries and compile tender evaluation reports.
* Gather and organize relevant pre-construction data.
* Develop and manage a procurement schedule for each project.
* Produce detailed cost estimates and ongoing cost reports.
* Ensure smooth handover of project information to the delivery team.
Candidate Requirements: * Degree or trade certification in a relevant field.
* At least 1-2 years of experience in estimating, preferably with a main building services contractor.
* Experience in tendering, particularly in HVAC or similar industries, is a strong advantage.
* Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven experience in project costing, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Comfortable working within deadlines and budget constraints.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and legal frameworks is desirable.
* Analytical with strong attention to detail.
* Skilled in negotiation and able to build positive working relationships.
* Eager to learn, adaptable, and open to taking on new challenges.
* Primarily office-based but must be willing to travel to various sites to assess potential work opportunities
