Event Sales Co-Ordinator

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic individual looking to join our team in the role of Event Sales Co-ordinator at the Cashel Palace Hotel.Objective of the RoleReporting directly to the Event Sales Manager this is a brilliant opportunity for an Events Sales Co-ordinator to join our busy Sales & Marketing Team.
In this role you will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving the event sales budget of the hotel.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDealing with telephone, email and web enquiries for Weddings, Meetings & EventsTo ensure the accurate processing, distribution, and recording/filing and follow up of all sales correspondence, including the execution of contracts, quotations, confirmations, cancellations, function sheetsEnsure all client needs are met and perform account management on all client bookingsManagement of databasesExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailExperience with Hotsoft is desirable but not essentialConducting onsite Visits with Clients/Couples to showcase our property and all facilitiesLiaising with Clients/Couples from initial enquiry to the day of eventExperience and Key Attributes1 year's previous event sales/coordination experience in a hotel or venue would be an advantageExperience within the hospitality industry would be a distinct advantageComfortable meeting and working with guestsAn excellent command of the English languageExcellent organisational skillsStrong selling and interpersonal skills.Additional InformationGreat employee benefits as part of the overall package.
