Discover your exciting role The Expert Estimator is responsible for following & leading the estimating process, and shall adhere to standardized procedures, methods and processes for estimating established within the function.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities Prepares and supports Mechanical estimates Reviews project plans and specifications and coordinates with the team to confirm complete scope Supports estimating organization in database development and benchmarking, work with corporate stakeholders to gather data relevant to estimating Participates in the project and in team meetings Reviews subcontractor and vendor bid packages Performs quantity take-off of Mechanical and I&C components per bidding documents Solicits and coordinates 2nd tier subcontractor pricing to support proposal Completes all labor, material, equipment and subcontract pricing Coordinates proposal and construction schedules with Planning/Scheduling department Assists in preparation of written execution plans and technical clarifications Works with proposal sponsor or administrator to compile all required bid submittal information Assists the project teams in preparation of field change order estimates Other duties may be assigned Show your expertise 5 + years experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional organization and coordination skills Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g.
Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
