Facilities Manager

This is a great opportunity to work with a leading facilities management company who are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to work with their client onsite in Limerick City.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of all facilities within the organization, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and meet all legal requirements.Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance plans for all building systems and utilities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Prepare and monitor capital expenditure requests, cost estimates, and project budgets.Ensure all facilities management activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and identify opportunities for improvement.Support EHS projects and objectives, including energy reduction and awareness programs.Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and cost control.Provide training and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.Lead initiatives related to energy management on-site, including identifying and implementing energy-saving measures and raising awareness among employees.Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to reduce consumption and costs.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Kevin Griffin: Kevin Griffin
