Job Role We are looking for a competent, organised and energetic individual to join our Finance team with responsibility for a company with multiple divisions.
You must be able to demonstrate that you are self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement.
You should be able to work on your own initiative while also having the ability to take direction from senior management.
Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts which allow management to evaluate the performance of the business.
Prepare and post monthly journals and complete monthly reconciliations.
Support Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable as needed.
Assist with completion of statutory tax returns as required Assist in the preparation of the year end file and assist auditors with the audit process.
When requested, interact and perform other ad-hoc duties in other areas of the business and finance function.
To share ideas on process improvements Skills required Degree in Business/accountancy or equivalent.
Currently studying towards or recently qualified with a professional accountancy qualification: ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage change successfully.
Take responsibility for task completion and meeting deadlines.
Bright and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Must have strong Excel skills & be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook/Word.
