What you will learn
An innovator within the enterprise cloud solutions space, your new company has multi-million dollar partnerships with customers annually. As the Financial Accountant, you will ensure this revenue is correctly accounted for. You will have responsibility for journal entries across multiple operational work-streams, ensuring alignment with US GAAP requirements. You will complete management reports on key business KPIs such as flux analysis on indirect reserves and ensure the general ledgers are reconciled. Once quarter-end is complete, you will engage in balance sheet reviews to ensure the accuracy of its contents and identify significant changes. You will gain fantastic experience in US GAAP, quarter-end, and management reports within a large-scale multinational environment.
Work 3 days from home
With 300 employees in Galway, this company emphasizes work-life balance where you will work 3 days from home weekly. On the days that you are in the office, you can start and finish at times that work for you. There is no month-end, meaning no long hours. You will also gain exposure to best-in-class systems and training, as within the Finance department there is a dedicated sub-team responsible for implementing new automated solutions for both accounting and analytics. Each member of the Finance team receives training on each tool, empowering you to develop skills in Power BI for financial analytics, SAP ERP, Alteryx, and Blackline.
The experience you can bring
To become the Financial Accountant, you will have completed your professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) within either practice or industry. Desirable soft skills include an eagerness to learn both technical accounting approaches and systems while being keen to contribute to the team's overall outcome.
What you can expect
On offer is a generous remuneration package of €65,000-€75,000 including base salary, bonus, full health insurance cover for you and any dependents, company pension match up to 5%, life assurance, acquired disability protection, and 25 days annual leave.
