We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Fitness Instructor to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide high quality, results focused and professional gym instructing to facilitate people of all ages and varying needs through the delivery of safe and effective appraisals, programs, instruction, education and motivation.
Key Responsibilities: · Interacting with guests in a professional, courteous manner.
· Reception duties.
· To maintain all areas of the Leisure Centre to a clean, safe and high standard.
· Work within the team environment to create, maintain and promote a clean, well-organised Leisure Centre
· Ensure equipment is cleaned daily and maintained to a high standard.
· Design and monitor effective individualised programs for clients.
Safely instruct members through their personal programs.
· Provide instruction to members in techniques and equipment use in the Leisure Centre.
· Monitor members training by walking the gym floor and offering assistance.
· Maintain up to date knowledge in all areas of exercise by attending regular courses.
· Ensure that contact is made with new members at 2, 8 and 12 week intervals to establish if desired results are being achieved.
· Develop circuit class format and run circuit classes, providing motivation for participants.
The Ideal candidate will have: · National Council for Exercise and Fitness (NCEF) qualified or equivalent.
· Life Guard Qualification is desirable but not necessary
· Swim Teacher experience is desirable but not necessary
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Fluent English
· Must be a team player with the ability to work in a busy environment.
