Role Overview: As a Barista at Gourmet Food Parlour, you'll play a crucial role in delivering outstanding coffee experiences.
Your expertise in brewing and serving our exclusive coffee blend will be at the heart of what you do.

Key Responsibilities: Coffee Crafting: Skillfully prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos.
Ensure consistent taste and presentation across all beverages.
Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly conversations.
Share your knowledge about our unique coffee offerings.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain coffee brewing equipment.
Promptly report any equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
Coffee Bean Knowledge: Understand the characteristics of different coffee beans and their extraction methods.
Adjust grind settings to achieve the perfect flavor profile.
Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the coffee station immaculate, well-organized, and fully stocked.
Adhere to strict cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Dessert Presentation: Oversee the dessert counter, ensuring appealing displays, stock rotation, and cleanliness.
Demonstrate expertise in our products, especially regarding allergens and food intolerances.
Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash, and maintain a secure cash drawer.
Efficiency in High Demand: Work efficiently during busy periods to minimize customer wait times.
Cross-Training: Adapt to various Front of House roles as needed, maintaining a flexible attitude.
Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Barista is essential.
A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to our high standards.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a strong dedication to cleanliness.
Basic math skills for cash handling and awareness of health and safety regulations.
