Graduate R&D Engineer – Medical Device Start-up (Galway)We are partnering with an innovative start-up in the medical device industry, focusing on patient-centred solutions for palliative care. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate R&D Engineer to join a growing team in Galway and contribute to developing life-changing technologies that enhance the quality of life for patients. Key Responsibilities: Support product design and development, from concept to commercialisation.Prototype development and conducting feasibility studies.Develop and execute test methods, design validation, and verification activities.Create and maintain technical documentation to meet regulatory standards.Collaborate on material selection and process optimisation to achieve optimal product performance.Analyse and report data, providing insights for project decisions.Contribute to maintaining a functional and safe lab environment.Ensure design control processes are followed and improved where necessary.Key Requirements: Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency with CAD software (Solidworks) and MS Office suite.Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong initiative.Strong communication skills, with experience in report writing and documentation.Why Join?
