Benamic is seeking an experienced marketing leader for a 12-month maternity cover, charged with continuing our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives, fostering a motivated and high-performing team, and delivering on departmental targets.
Reporting to the CEO.
This role is remote with occasional travel to the Kilkenny HQ for meetings.
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & ABM Oversee, refine and build on the company's ABM strategy, ensuring targeted campaigns continue to engage enterprise-level prospects.
Evaluate and refine existing marketing programmes, identifying opportunities for innovative initiatives that align with company objectives.
Translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies and measurable outcomes.
Demand & Lead Generation Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns (SEO, paid advertising, content marketing, etc.)
to generate, nurture, and convert leads.
Use data-driven insights to optimise campaign performance and maximise ROI.
Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure alignment of lead-generation efforts with revenue targets and pipelines.
Team Management & Collaboration Directly lead a remote marketing team of three (Digital Marketing Executive, Content Marketing Specialist, and Marketing Coordinator), along with a design team of two, based across Ireland and Bulgaria.
Keep the team motivated, offering guidance, clear objectives, and constructive feedback in a remote setting.
Foster strong collaboration between marketing, design, and other departments—particularly Sales and Development—to maintain momentum on all ongoing projects.
Ongoing Projects Oversee marketing activities for upcoming initiatives, contributing to any Go-to-Market strategies that arise during your tenure.
Ensure all branding and launch-related tasks are consistent, timely, and aligned with broader departmental goals.
Maintain momentum on existing campaigns and seamlessly integrate new marketing efforts where needed.
Budgeting & Reporting Oversee the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to meet performance objectives.
Conduct regular reviews of campaign metrics, presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, proactively adjusting approaches to maintain competitive advantage.
Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership Strengthen Benamic's standing as a leading global promotions partner, with particular emphasis on enterprise markets.
Ensure marketing and design outputs consistently reflect our brand identity, values, and voice.
Identify and pursue relevant channels—such as industry events or media opportunities—to raise brand awareness and credibility.
Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 5–7 years' experience in marketing, including at least 2–3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
Demonstrable success managing ABM or B2B-focused campaigns, ideally within cross-functional and/or remote team environments.
Experience in multi-channel marketing (e.g., SEO, paid advertising, content) with measurable results.
SaaS marketing exposure beneficial but not essential Skills & Competencies Proven leadership and team-management abilities, particularly in a distributed or remote setting.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset—able to pivot quickly in a dynamic environment.
Strong grasp of digital marketing channels (including SEO), campaign performance analytics, and ROI optimisation.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills, capable of aligning teams and resources around shared goals.
