The Global Head of Quality will oversee the quality assurance operations across all our sites, ensuring that products and services meet the highest global standards.
This role involves developing and implementing a unified quality strategy, leading global quality initiatives, and continuing to build a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across Element Six.
Duties and tasks: Global Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive global quality strategy that aligns with the company's vision and goals.
Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of quality professionals, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with international regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, FDA).
Process Harmonization: Standardize quality processes and systems across all global sites to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Audits and Inspections: Oversee global internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of any findings and continuous compliance.
Customer Focus: Collaborate with global customer service and product development teams to address quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on global quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate quality-related risks across all international operations.
Flexibility to Travel: You will be required to travel to all E6 sites to spend time with your team, and to work on project initiatives where attendance, influencing and implementation is required in person.
Criteria skills: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Previous experience working as a manager in quality assurance is essential, with previous experience in a global leadership role is desirable.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) are highly desirable.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of global quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Ability to anticipate issues and implement solutions proactively.
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across geographic regions and functions.
Ability to navigate and manage quality operations in diverse cultural environments.
