Health And Safety Officer - Renewables

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a UK based renewable energy company who specialises in the development, construction and operation of utility scale solar projects, to recruit a Health and Safety Officer for their Ireland site.
The strategically important project manager role comes with €45,000- €55,000 salary and flexible working.
Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will: Complete site inspections, as well as audits.
Ensuring site staff comply with company safety.
Review RAMS for sub-contractors Support the Health and Safety Manager with general tasks Update and maintain company safety management system.
Identify training needs Deliver health and safety inductions, toolbox talks and training Organise safety meetings Assist with accident and incident investigations Submit weekly reports Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Level 3 EHS Qualification 5 years experience is a similar role Construction experience (desirable) Personal skills The Health and Safety Officer role would suit someone who is: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Exceptional organisation Attention to detail Salary and benefits of the Health and Safety Officer role €45,000- €55,000 Flexible working Company Pension Death in Service Income Protection INDREN Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
