Our client is looking for experienced HGV Mechanics to play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of their fleet.
* Vehicle Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various fleet vehicles, ensuring all work aligns with company standards and safety protocols.
* Complex Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues within the fleet, utilizing advanced fault-finding techniques.
* Time Management: Efficiently manage your time and prioritize tasks to ensure repairs and inspections are completed within set deadlines.
* Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety regulations, ensuring all tasks meet the required standards.
* Productivity & Efficiency: Maintain a high level of productivity, ensuring that repairs and inspections are performed quickly and effectively.
* VOR Minimization: Strive to minimize Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time, ensuring that fleet vehicles are operational as soon as possible.
The Ideal Candidate: * Technical Expertise: Possesses a high level of technical knowledge in vehicle maintenance and repair.
* Experience: Brings at least 3 years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance.
* Qualifications: Holds a QQI Level Six Award or equivalent in a related field
