Details of the offer

The Role: The HR Generalist will be a key member of our client's HR and play a central function in the company. The position will report to the HR Manager. Responsibilities: Employee Relations dealing with employee requests and queries on a daily basis. Recruitment and Selection Responsibility for Employee Benefits Administration, such as; Pension, Medical Insurance, provision and ordering of safety wear. Preparing monthly HR Reports for various departments. Support in developing on boarding processes incl. ZUP Process Introduce and integrate new staff members. Set up new employees on various systems prior to start date and prepare for arrival on-site. Implementing and updating Company Policies and Company Handbook Management of Personnel Files and training records Management of on boarding and relocation of international employees incl. visa etc. Provide advice and support to management team where applicable Record and administrate working time incl. absence management Support in providing employee appraisals Payroll Preparation in conjunction with Finance dept. Develop and manage public relation. Plan and manage events Maintenance of the company Intranet website. HR representative on the company communications team Ad hoc human resources duties and projects. Person Specification: Degree in a business related subject, preferably human resources related discipline. Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Human resource function Ideally CIPD qualified Excellent PC Skills Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook. Previous experience of maintaining a time and attendance system is a distinct advantage. Knowledgeable on current Irish employment legislation. Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels Problem solving skills ability to think outside the box to achieve the best solution Work well both independently and as part of a team Friendly and approachable and recognises the importance of confidentiality. Flexible attitude with an ability to multitask. All applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland and hold a valid work visa as no sponsorship available for this position.
