Job Title: HR Generalist Position: Permanent, Full-Time Salary:€45,000.00 - €48,000.00 Hours Per Week:40 hours per week Hours-Of-Work:9:00 AM - 17:00 PM; Monday - Friday Work Environment:Professional Office Based Job Overview We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in a dynamic industrial setting, responsible for diverse HR functions, particularly Industrial Relations (IR), Employee Relations (ER), and TUPE transfers.
This role will manage core HR operations and support the HR Manager to ensure compliance with Irish employment law, policy adherence, and employee well-being.
Ideal for a self-sufficient, detail-oriented HR professional with solid expertise in IR and TUPE, this position is critical for maintaining HR compliance and resolving complex HR issues within our organization.
The HR Generalist will also play a vital role in shaping employee relations, conducting performance reviews, and managing policy updates and compliance.
Key Responsibilities Industrial & Employee Relations Policy Guidance and Compliance: Advise managers and employees on company policies, employment terms, and conditions while ensuring adherence to Irish employment law.
Grievance and Disciplinary Processes: Oversee grievance and disciplinary actions, including preparation for third-party hearings when necessary.
Employee Queries: Address employee concerns promptly, fostering a supportive and compliant work environment.
TUPE and Redundancy Management TUPE Transfer Management: Lead TUPE processes, ensuring a seamless transition aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
Redundancy Process Oversight: Work closely with the HR Director on redundancy planning and communication, applying fair selection criteria and offering transition support.
Recruitment and Onboarding Recruitment Support: Collaborate with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs, assist in drafting job descriptions, conduct interviews, and manage the candidate selection process.
Onboarding Management: Ensure smooth onboarding by coordinating with relevant departments, handling reference checks, and updating recruitment status reports.
Performance Management Review Process: Manage three-month and six-month probationary reviews, and conduct monthly one-on-one reviews as needed.
Managerial Support: Provide guidance to managers in addressing team performance and developmental needs.
Training and Systems Compliance LMS & Workwave Systems Training: Participate in training for our new Learning Management System (LMS) and TEAM by , ensuring employees meet attendance tracking and compliance requirements.
System and Policy Updates: Maintain accurate records and assist in implementing changes to HR systems and policies, especially as new processes or technologies are introduced.
Administration and Record-Keeping Attendance and Leave Management: Handle attendance records and employee leave queries, ensuring accurate documentation for payroll.
Documentation Compliance: Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records, supporting the efficient operation of HR functions.
