Your new company Hays are working exclusively with a manufacturing organisation based in Monaghan to appoint an HR Officer to join their team.
Your new role Support the recruitment process e.g.
posting ads, screening candidates and reference checks.
Issue employment contracts, offer letters and correspondence to staff.
Manage the new employee induction process and support during the initial employment period.
Management of employee probation periods i.e.
tracking progress and performance with managers.
Management of employee welfare programs and driving employee engagement.
Advise management team on HR related queries by staying up to date and complying with changes in EU / IRL legislation in both HR and GDPR.
Support to management when dealing with long and short-term absence.
Dealing with day-to-day HR queries from employees & management in a timely and professional manner.
Develop employee communication through different mediums e.g.
company newsletter.
Review and develop HR policies, procedures and Employee Handbook.
Representing the HR aspect of the business in various cross-functional teams.
Develop, manage and report on HR KPI's Performance of other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed Previous experience working in a similar HR role.
Have attained CIPD qualification or other HR qualification.
Good employment law / HR knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work on own initiative.
